Tucker Wetmore has released his latest single, Who Told You That, continuing what’s already been a landmark year for one of country music’s fastest-rising stars.

Following the success of Sunburn and chart-topping hit Brunette, the new track brings a lighter, more playful energy. Built around an easy-going country groove, Who Told You That explores the gap between reputation and reality, with Tucker challenging the rumours surrounding him and asking one simple question: who told you all that in the first place?

There’s plenty of charm woven into the song, but beneath the flirtatious lyrics is a reminder that first impressions don’t always tell the full story.

Written by Jordan Schmidt, Ashley Gorley, Hunter Phelps and Michael Tyler, the single continues Tucker’s impressive run of releases as his audience continues to grow on both sides of the Atlantic.

It’s been a busy few months for the singer-songwriter. Earlier this summer, he made his Nissan Stadium debut during CMA Fest, was named Billboard’s Country Rising Star at the 2026 Country Power Players and celebrated another number one with Brunette, which has now surpassed 330 million global streams.

Live, there’s plenty more to come too. After completing the first leg of his sold-out Brunette World Tour – including dates in the UK – Tucker has returned to the road as part of HARDY’s Country! Country! Tour before rejoining his own headline tour later this month. He’ll also join Brooks & Dunn for select dates this autumn, including a stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Following the release of debut album What Not To, Tucker has quickly become one of the most exciting new names in modern country music. If Who Told You That is anything to go by, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
