The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes may just be one the must-read YA books of 2020.
“She came from nothing.
Avery has a plan: keep her head down, work hard for a better future.
Then an eccentric billionaire dies, leaving her almost his entire fortune. And no one, least of all Avery, knows why.
They had everything.
Now she must move into the mansion she’s inherited.
It’s filled with secrets and codes, and the old man’s surviving relatives – a family hell-bent on discovering why Avery got ‘their’ money.
Now there’s only one rule: the winner takes all.
Soon she is caught in a deadly game that everyone in this strange family is playing.
But just how far will they go to keep their fortune?”

The Inheritance Games is a deliciously twisted and engrossing, none stop roller coaster ride, that is impossible to put down.
Mystery, intrigue, angst, romance, and puzzles galore, it has it all. Blended together to make a fantastic and original read.
Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an absolute genius when it comes to crafting complex plots, that have so many layers and puzzles with them, you become breathless turning the pages with eager anticipation to solve the puzzles and mystery unfolding as if you are stood next to the characters as it all unfolds.
The Inheritance Games is one of our favourite reads of 2020. It’s a book that leaves you wanting more ( we mean we didn’t want it to end and cannot wait to read the sequel) and one you will not be able to resist telling your friends about.
