Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex is to write an intimate and heartfelt memoir about his life. The book will be published in late 2022 via Penguin Random house.
“In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.
Covering his lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his dedication to service, the military duty that twice took him to the frontlines of Afghanistan, and the joy he has found in being a husband and father, Prince Harry will offer an honest and captivating personal portrait, one that shows readers that behind everything they think they know lies an inspiring, courageous, and uplifting human story.”
In the statement announcing the news, Prince Harry stated “I am writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.”
He is working with ghostwriter J.R Moehringer who also ghostwrote Phil Knight’s memoir, Shoe Dog, published in 2016.
Harry’s wife Meghan has also authored a book. She released her first children’s book earlier this year, The Bench.
Inspired by Harry and their son Archie, The Bench is all about the special bond between father and son as seen through a mother’s eyes. The book was also published by Penguin Random House.
Sales from Harry’s book will be donated to charity.
