5 Seconds of Summer have announced a very special one off gig ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
The gig will be on the eve of the release of their latest studio album aptly titled 5SOS5 on the 22nd September
The 5SOS guys have always been about the music and are band that musically seem to get stronger with every release so the announcement of ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ feels as if it’s another way for the band to push their musical boundaries and give their fans a different type of show.
‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ show will see them not only perform in a hugely prestigious venue in London which is very different stage wise and acoustically from the the arenas and stadiums they sell out worldwide. It will also see them perform with a live orchestra.
The band will perform the new album with the orchestra as well as some of their classic hits, which will bring a whole new and exciting feel to much loved tracks they choose to perform.
Talking about ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ show on Twitter Ashton stated ‘ Massive amounts of inspiration from the team were putting it together with. Looking forward to the challenge of creating a show unlike anything we’ve done before.’
The gig will be fully seated and customers aged 14 years or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. There will be no in-person sales at the box office. Pre-order the album by July 19th at 6pm BST for the opportunity to get early access to tickets on July 20th at 10am
Tickets for ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ will go on sale on 22 July.
