2023 was full of amazing music to suit any mood you had. So we thought we’d compile a list of artists we loved in 2023 and cannot wait to hear more from in 2024!
Issac Anderson
Isaac Anderson had a phenomenal 2023, releasing his music and selling out headline shows all across Europe in between being part of Louis Tomlinson’s live band on his Faith in the Future World tour.
Our fave track released by Isaac in 2023 was Survived My Early Twenties, also the name of his album. An honest and very relatable track for anyone who listens to it.
Laura White
In 2023, Laura wrote for many other artists. One of her songs, ‘Nobody’, was used by the winner of the singing reality TV show The Voice in Australia and went to number 1.
She also released Lemon, which gave fans the first taste of her album, which will be released in 2024.
Michael and Michelle
Musically, 2023 was a huge year for Michael and Michelle as musicians. They released their second EP, ‘Don’t Go Alone’, and announced their first UK tour in early 2024. Having seen them live when they did their first-ever gig at The Omera, we look forward to seeing them at their London date, as they are sensational live artists.
DNAGE
A huge year for Matt Dinnadge, who only started releasing music at the beginning of 2023. In between being part of Louis Tomlinson’s live band on his Faith in the Future World tour in 2023 he’s cemented himself as an artist who releases absolute bangers and creates some of the prettiest merch we’ve seen. We cannot wait to see what he and his label, DNAGE Records, have planned for 2024.
Hollie Cassar
Aside from jetting all around the world in her day job as musical director for the hugely successful show Choir of Man, Hollie managed to find time to release two wonderful tracks, ‘Bossy’ and ‘ Violet’. Her music has gained support from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 2, showing she is definitely an artist to watch in 2024.
Claire Richards
What a year for Claire Richards. From appearing on numerous TV shows and giving us one of our favourite pop culture moments of 2023: reuniting H and Claire for a surprise performance of their track DJ, to finally releasing her anticipated second solo album. Euphoria was released via an indie label and was hugely successful. Reaching number 2 in the UK charts.
The album covers some of Claire’s favourite songs from female artists, which inspired her own singing career. The duet she features on it with Delta Goodrem is one of our favourite tracks of 2023.
Asher Monroe
Asher Monroe started 2023 by releasing the XR live concert footage for his album. Windows of Time. Which was a visual work of art paired with Asher’s incomparable vocals.
Over the course of 2023 Asher posted numerous clips of him singing on Instagram. Then on Christmas day dropped ‘Songs of the Century, Pt, 1’, which features a sublime cover of ‘Pure Imagination’. We are excited for more music from Asher in 2024 and have our fingers crossed for a live show in the UK.
Here At Last
Here at Last is a band that has continued to grow and grow in 2023, releasing numerous singles, playing for thousands of fans at events across the UK and releasing their first EP, EP1. 2024 is another huge year for the band, with a tour and lots more music planned.
Michael Blackwell
Between being part of Louis Tomlinson’s live band on his Faith in the Future World tour, Live shows across Europe, beautiful lyrics and his EP ‘A Trip Around The Sun’ made up a hugely successful year for artist Michael Blackwell. 2024 promises to be equally as busy with more tour dates with Louis and more of his own music.
Citizen Solider
With the release of ICU, numerous collabs and touring across the US, Citizen Soldier are a band that is steadily gaining fans worldwide.
With another album to be released in Spring 2024, a headline tour across the US, and tentative plans for international tour dates in 2025. We cannot wait to watch Citizen Soldier grow and see their music inspire and give those who listen to it hope, validation and the feeling that they are not alone!
