Louis Tomlinson is helping to spread a smile for young people in hospital

Louis Tomlinson may just be the king of sending uplifting and supportive video messages to people when they need them. This time he’s helping out Spread A Smile.

Spread A Smile is a charity which partners with seven hospitals in London (Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College Hospital, The Royal London, St. Mary’s, the Evelina London, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and King’s College London). The charity takes magicians, musicians, fairies, poets, singers, face painters, artists and three therapy dogs into paediatric and adolescent wards to bring a much-needed smile to children and teens in the hospital.

The charity got in touch with Louis and he sent them a video. In the video, he apologises for not being able to go in and see them in person.

Spread A Smile are a charity quite close to Louis’s heart. as a young girl  Chloe Balloqui, he met a few years ago has recently been visited by the organisation while she has treatment in hospital.

Louis and his Mum heard about Chloe after she appeared in a documentary “Raining in my heart”  they got in contact and invited her to be on the guests of honour at the charity ball they organised at the Royal History Museum in London, which was prince and princess themed.
