Anne Twist and Emily Sutton have announced a virtual event with Blue Willow Bookshop to promote their new children’s book Betty and the Mysterious Visitor.
The children’s book is Anne’s first book and she has teamed up with talented children’s illustrator Emily Sutton for the project.
Betty loves visiting Grandma and playing in her beautiful garden, Acorn Hollows. But when a mysterious creature starts destroying the Hollows, Betty must come up with a plan to save it. Whatever will she do?

Betty and the Mysterious Visitor will be released on 7 September via Candlewick in the US and Walker Books in the UK. The very special virtual event will celebrate the release and see Anne and Emily discuss the book with Blue Willow Bookshop in the US.
Blue Willow Book Shop is an independent book store located in Houston will deliver the virtual event via zoom which means people all over the world can purchase a ticket and join.
Tickets include a copy of the book and a book plate signed by Anne (while stocks last). Books can be picked instore or shipped within the US or internationally (shipping fees will apply).
Those who purchase tickets will be sent a link to be able to ask Anne and Emily lots of lovely book related questions which they will answer during the event.
