You might recognise the last name Efron, and yes Dylan is the younger brother of actor Zac Efron, but he’s also about to star in Netflix new show Down to Earth, which also features his older brother.
Down to Earth will introduce Dylan to the world. And he’s so much more than Zac’s brother. He’s a talented filmmaker, producer and writer. The show which will air exclusively on Netflix will see Dylan accompany his brother and wellness expert Darin Olien as they journey around the world in search of healthy, sustainable ways to live.
The show was filmed back in 2018 and saw Zac travel to numerous countries across the world, Puerto Rico, Iceland, Italy, France, London, Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru and Sardinia to find more eco-friendly ways to generate “the main staples for modern life” – food, water and energy.
Ayahuasca Foundation were featured in the series and they had nothing but praise for Dylan who they said was the first they met when filming began. They said “ Dylan was the first person I met. It was obvious he was a kind and humble person. It was a real pleasure spending time with him.”
They also nothing but praise for Zac and the entire documentary crew who were helping to create the show.
Ayahuasca Foundation received a generous grant from the Grant Town Foundation to build the retreat and research center which will be featured in the series. Based within The Mishana community, offers retreats, courses, and research led by Shipibo healers in the Amazon rain forest of Peru.
One of the treatments used at the retreat are Smoke baths. They form part of the complex science of Shipibo plant medicine in the Amazon rain forest of Peru. They used to remove dark or negative energies, they help to purify the aura.
Dylan who is a big fan of outdoor pursuits from fly fishing He’s an athlete, a writer and a filmmaker. Who pairs his love of the outdoors with working with his brother’s production company Ninja’s Runnin’ Wild. He’s also a keen participant in endurance runs and triathlons.
