Netflix has teamed up with Zac Efron to get Down to Earth for a new travel show.
Down to Earth will see Zac journey around the world with wellness expert Darin Olien in search of healthy, sustainable ways to live.
The show was filmed back in 2018 and saw Zac travel to numerous countries across the world, Puerto Rico, Iceland, Italy, France, London, Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru and Sardinia to find more eco-friendly ways to generate “the main staples for modern life” – food, water and energy.
He was accompanied on his travels by his younger brother Dylan and wellness expert Darin Olien, authored his own nutritional guide and hosts his own health podcast.
Discussing Down to Earth, Zac said “We’re travelling around the world to find some new perspectives on some very old problems.
“Food, water and energy are all the main staples for modern life. We’re going to see some top eco innovators to see how change is an inside job. And we’re going to be eating really, really well.
“We need to start rethinking how we consume everything, from our food to our power. Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it’s about time we all changed. It’s time to get down to earth.”
Earlier this year Zac appeared in and executively produced a show, the Great Global Cleanup on the Discovery Channel. The former High School Musical and Greatest Showman actor again teamed up with his brother Dylan for the show, which was produced by Zac’s production company, Ninja’s Runnin Wild so it clearly shows that this is something Zac and Dylan are very passionate about.
Zac’s new travel show will premiere on Netflix on July 10. Let us know if you are looking forward to seeing it over on @TBHONEST_UK.
