Louis Tomlinson has done it. After an intense chart battle with the legendary Bruce Springsteen, he is #1 in the UK albums chart with his second album Faith in the Future.
Earlier this week when his loyal Louies found out he was in a shot at taking the coveted #1 spot on the official UK albums chart, they went all out to make it happen. They went to music stores and bought out the entire stock of albums gifting them to others who could not afford them, or they donated money to help with the buyouts it was truly a team effort.
What was also wonderful was the support Louis got from his contemporaries in the industry with Niall Horan, The Snuts, Wheatus, Gloria Gaynor, Only The Poets, Isaac Anderson and lots of unsigned indie bands all posting about how the album needed to hit that #1 spot.
And all the hard work has paid off as Louis and Faith in the Future are now #1, allowing Louis to get the recognition he has long deserved as a performing artist and lyricist.
